How can one of our systems help you?
With any system we build, the solution is designed to fit your business needs, rather than the business being required to fit around a pre-designed solution. A well-designed system will give you increased productivity, higher customer satisfaction, happier employees and most importantly a more profitable business. Such a system will:
- reduce the overall workload within the company and/or remove the need to employ extra staff to do administrative work
- allow employees to spend more time on meaningful and useful tasks and less time on routine, repetitive work, leading to happier and more productive staff
- increase the availability and accuracy of the information the company has about their customers, suppliers and orders, thereby giving better management awareness of the situation of the company
- allow orders to be processed more quickly and/or allow a higher volume of orders to be processed giving increased efficiency and profitability
- lead to less mistakes being made which in turn will lead to higher customer satisfaction.
How long will it take?
This depends on the requirements. A basic system can be up and running within two weeks. More complicated systems can be installed with the basics working within a couple of weeks, with further functionality added incrementally over a few weeks to a few months depending on complexity. This incremental approach means that you can see what is being developed and you can control the content and functionality much easier, leading to a system that truly represents the requirements of your business.
How can we build bespoke systems so quickly?
We have developed a powerful and flexible template which allows us to create bespoke systems very quickly by simply defining the fields and entities the customer requires and painting screens using any combination of these fields. More complicated systems will have reporting requirements and extra functionality, which will take slightly longer to develop. The template essentially allows us to build bespoke solutions at off-the-shelf prices.
What are the advantages of the Intrinsiq template?
Speed of Development
This gives you two major benefits: you get a system up and running quickly (rather than having to wait months or more to get started) and more importantly the cost of the system will be a fraction of what a bespoke system would normally cost.
Stability
Unlike a normal tailor-made system which requires extensive testing, a system developed using the template requires only the functionality specific to the customer to be tested since all the basic functionality has already been tested.
Flexibility in Development
We know and understand that it is impossible for any business to foresee all of their requirements before a system is built. We believe that the best designed system is one which incorporates constant feedback from the customer. Short of a major shift in requirements, our fixed price covers all changes and requests during development.
Ease of Expansion
The system is designed so that it can be expanded with great ease to incorporate new ideas and new functionality. This allows the system to grow as the company grows. It also allows development to be done in stages making it even more affordable.
What will it cost?
We charge a basic monthly fee for the Intrinsiq office systems which covers licensing, support and maintenance and upgrades. This is the only cost involved for a standard system with minor customisation. Most larger clients will need more customisation for which we will charge a development fee - this fee is payable in monthly instalments in the first year.
As each system is unique, it's impossible to give an actual price until we fully understand your requirements. However, as a guideline, a basic system is likely to cost between £25 and £50 a month with the monthly charge going up depending on the size and complexity of the system.
The development charge is obviously entirely dependent on your requirements but will very rarely be more than £10,000 for even the most sophisticated of systems. To put these amounts into context, an office clerk or similar will cost a business about £15 - £20,000 a year, every year.
Once we understand your requirements, we will give a fixed quote to develop a system to those requirements. By fixed quote, we mean a fixed price. We expect the requirements to evolve as the system is built and we do not increase the price every time a minor modification is required.
Your monthly charge will remain the same regardless of the number of users or PCs involved.
If there are any major changes to requirements or extra functionality requested that are not covered by the original brief, we will give a further fixed quote before doing any additional work.
We are also very happy to break a large system into a number of phases if required and can quote for each stage separately. This means that you have the satisfaction of seeing the system working before committing further resources.
What about support and maintenance?
No system is considered complete until the customer is happy with it. Once a system is in use, we will continue to receive feedback and make further appropriate changes.
After installation, we will give training on the use of the system.
The monthly charge covers all aspects of support and maintenance including:
Sorting out any problem there is with the system.
Answering queries on the use of the system and how best to achieve your goals.
The back-up of your data on a daily basis.
Any upgrades made to the base template to take advantage of the latest technology.
And most importantly, we're here to help. We won't just install a system and disappear, we are committed to a long term relationship with all our customers.
